Heard about 301 and 302 redirect? When you have a blog or website to master, you occasionally will need to redirect the links when you try new applications or programs to make the performance of your blog even better. So, it is very very important to know which redirect code you will need to use, as it is directly connected to the traffic you already have in your blog or website.
The difference between 301 and 302 redirect is that 301 redirect shows to the visitor that you moved the page to a different location, in a permanent way. And, on the other hand 302 means that you are redirecting only temporarily.
So, please be careful whether you set the redirect code as the search engines need to figure if they should keep the older version of the page or to replace it with the new one and meantime you will lose your ranking, your traffic and so your customers.
